The release of Diablo 4 still seems a long way off, but apparently it is already certain that there will again be a cross-promotion with World of Warcraft. In the game files for patch 9.2.5 of WoW: Shadowlands, there are clear signs of the mount Amalgan of Rage, which players will receive when they purchase the collector's edition of Diablo 4. Dates to be taken with a grain of salt
Even though the data for the mount Amalgam of Rage is hiding in the files of patch 9.2.5, it doesn't mean that it will be unlocked with this patch, of course. The data could lie there unused for quite a while and also show up in later WoW versions. After all, Diablo 4 must first be available for pre-sale in order for such a promotion to be possible at all. Signs of first alpha tests for Diablo 4 were already talked about last year. If we are not told the release date of the fourth Diablo part at the Blizzard event on April 19, 2022, we still assume that Diablo 4 will not be released in 2022.
So WoW fans will have to wait a while for the Amalgam of Rage, if it really is the cross-promotional mount. If there is more information about it, we will keep you updated here.
