Blizzard had promised it: Soon there should be info on the Classic Fresh servers of WoW Classic. Now we know: The thing will not be called Classic Fresh, but Season of Championship. And on the official WoW website there are already concrete details about the implementation of the new Classic servers.

Classic, the new servers are also to be pleased with six content phases.

Phase 1 (Start of the Championship season in WoW Classic)

• Molten core
• Onyxia
• Maraudon
• Honor system for PvP and battlegrounds (brought forward from phases 3 and 4)

Phase 2

• Bleak Quarry
• Azurego's
• Kazzak

Phase 3

• Pitchwing Hoard
• Darkmoon Faire
• Darkmoon cards can be found

Phase 4

• Zul'Gurub
• Green Dragons

Phase 5

• The war effort for Ahn'Qiraj begins.
• Depending on the progress of the war effort, the raids of Ahn'Qiraj will be unlocked

Phase 6

• Naxxramas
• Scourge Invasions

However, several changes are also planned:

• Phases will be changed every two months or so, so we'll end up in Phase 6 much sooner than we did in WoW Classic.
• Global buff effects (such as Battlecry of the Dragon Slayers and others) are disabled in raid instances.
• Mechanics removed from some raid bosses will be restored.
• No limit on boss debuff effects (instead of the 16 debuff effects in WoW Classic).
• Increased health for bosses to compensate for player buff effects and the removed limit on debuff effects.
• Experience point gain will be increased (roughly like in TBC Classic, with a stronger focus on quest XP increases) to help you reach level 60 faster.
• Gathering stones will be changed to summoning stones.
• More mining and herbalism sources.

The open beta is already scheduled to start on October 05. Among other things, the developers want to address the issue of mage boosting and see if they can make adjustments for popular boosting locations like Maraudon (source).
