Although players have been able to decide whether or not the bones of their freshly minted hero should be visible when creating an undead character since the release of WoW Shadowlands, cape cutters haven't quite caught on to this innovation. Because until now, if you were traveling with an undead that had skin covering the bones, you still had to live with the fact that the capes had a large hole along the spine.
However, the tailors of Azeroth have apparently slowly sold off their old stocks of capes with a hole in the back, and with the release of patch 9.0.5, they will probably finally offer appropriate garments that are adapted to the needs of undead with skin: Images from the test server show namely that the previously mandatory cape hole will disappear with the next update for WoW (buy now 14,99 € ). So if you felt uncomfortable in the skin of your undead until now, because your character had to wear a cape with an unnecessary hole in the back, you can now breathe a sigh of relief. The hole in the cloth is history with patch 9.0.5 - at least for undead whose bones are covered with skin. For everyone else, the bare spine bone will continue to tear an opening in the garment.
