While the current raid in WoW hardly inspires any more players and the Mythic-Plus dungeons of Shadowlands are also starting to feel dead, the Legion Time Migration in particular is attracting more and more heroes to the content of the long-gone but fondly remembered sixth WoW expansion. The Mage Tower, in particular, is currently very popular, and it feels like there are more players on the Devastated Isles than in all the capitals combined.
However, the seven different challenges of the Mage Tower are quite tough and can be quite frustrating at times. That's why Blizzard has already applied extensive nerfs to the servers a few days ago. With a current hotfix, further nerfs will follow, which are primarily intended to improve the balancing between the individual classes.

Eases for Guardian Druid and Holy Priest
While the priest's healer check has been generated in the classic way, the developers have reversed an adjustment to the tank druid that was supposed to make combat easier, as it turned out that this made combat harder instead of easier. At the same time, some old enchantments that were too strong due to incorrect scaling were also weakened.
Blizzard
Dungeons and raids
- Time Walk
- Mage Tower
- Guardian Druid
- The change to the Nether Terrors ability to cast spells while moving has been reversed.
- Developer Note: When we were looking at the difficulty of the Guardian Druid, we thought we'd make it a little easier by having the Nether Terrors stop to cast their spell, creating a little more time for players to react to them. So we're reversing that change (which again is identical to the change in Legion).
- The change to the Nether Terrors ability to cast spells while moving has been reversed.
- Holy Priest
- Damage from Corrupted Risen Soldier has been reduced by 30%.
- Guardian Druid
- Mage Tower
Items and Rewards
- [With Realm Restarts] Gems found in Burning Crusade heroic dungeons now scale correctly with character level.
- [With Realm Restarts] Fixed a scaling issue with several Legacy weapon modifiers (Sharpening Stones, Weight Stones, and enchantments such as Great Strike) that added blanket damage to weapons, making these modifiers much more powerful than intended.
Have you had success in the Mage Tower yet, or are you waiting for more nerfs before trying again?
