In addition to the highly successful MDI, the Mythic Dungeon International, Blizzard is trying to establish a second format with The Great Push, which is intended to turn the PvE aspect of the mythic dungeons into esports. This time, the goal is not to set the fastest time, but to successfully complete the highest stones.
The trial by fire of the second season took place last weekend (December 3 to 5, 2021). On special tournament servers, more than 37,000 players in 7,500 teams dared to tackle the dungeons and push their keystones as high as possible. In the end, however, only the top six teams were able to advance to the finals, which will also take place this weekend on the tournament servers.

The Great Push - format, prize money and stream
Unlike the MDI, where teams compete directly against each other, the Great Push has a different format. Teams have five hours each day to complete the given dungeons with the highest keystone level possible to them. At the end of the day, the scores of all dungeons are added together. Teams are free to choose which dungeon they want to tackle and when, and where they want to invest how much time.

At the end of the first and second day, the team with the lowest score in each case has to say goodbye. At the end of day three, all the scores of a team are added up to determine the winner. The winning team can look forward to a whopping 20,000 dollars in prize money. In honor of the beginnings of Mythic Plus dungeons, and because they are currently active in the time migration, players will not only have to deal with Shadowlands dungeons, but Legion dungeons will also be included in the requirement.
